Last year I painted a variety of plants for posterpolytechnic.com - poster shop from Poland. They are a lovely company who works with contemporary artists and I was excited to work with them again this year. I wrote a blog post showcasing the plants I painted for them last time, and here is a selection of what I created for the recent project.
These illustrations of fresh local vegetables make perfect decoration for any kitchen or farmhouse walls.
Beetroot - Beta vulgaris
Radish - Raphanus sativus
Pumpkin - Cucurbita pepo
The scope of the project this time also included a common grain illustration:
Wheat - Triticum aestivum
Bright colored flowers tend to bring a little sunshine into our spaces and brighten up our days.
Chamomile - Matricaria chamomilla
Sunflower - Helianthus annuus
Fireweed - Chamaenerion angustifolium
Now you can decorate your home with my hand painted botanical illustrations - fine art prints are available in 5 sizes, up to 61x91 cm and 2 paper textures: smooth and watercolor. Poster Polytechnic print their posters on 310 gsm paper, ideal for reproductions of traditional artworks, that is also a 100% Cotton. Visit posterpolytechnic.com to purchase the art prints.
Hope you enjoyed a peak into my custom botanical illustration process!
