Back in October of 2019 I was commissioned to draw 5 mushrooms by Harmonic Arts, who celebrated their re-brand of Concentrated Mushroom Powders with packaging design update and a series of events.

Concentrated Mushroom Powders include:

Lion’s Mane - Hericium erinaceus

Hand drawing process. Illustrations were created using ink pen and paper.

Chaga - Inonotus obliquus

Black & white ink drawings that depict mushrooms form and natural texture.

Turkey tail - Trametes versicolor

Custom illustrations with a hand crafted feel.

Cordyceps mushroom

Packaging illustrations, drawn by hand and digitized to be printed on labels.

Reishi - Ganoderma lucidum

Finishing touches of this Reishi drawing, one stroke at a time.

Custom black & white mushroom illustrations are now featured on 45g and 100g jars. Harmonic Arts were kind enough to send me one of their Mushroom Powders, so now I’m adding it to my favorite recipes like mushroom pasta, whole grains like bulgur or quinoa and any vegetable side dishes. This project was definitely a highlight of 2019 and also a commercial success for Harmonic Arts - their customers loved the new packaging.
